On the one hand, while the board examinations are going to start in Haryana, on the other hand the Federation of Private School Welfare Association has opened a front against the Board of Education. The federation alleges that the teachers who had not performed their duty during the board examinations in March 2019, the students are being punished in lieu of the said teachers. The board did not issue the roll numbers of lakhs of students in the state, whose school teachers had not performed examination duty last year.

President of Federation, Kulbhushan Sharma, Secretary Ram Avtar Sharma and other office-bearers, while talking to reporters in Chandigarh on Sunday questioned that under which rules and laws, Bhiwani Board officials are harassing students by stopping their roll numbers against teachers who had not performed duties, While the board examination of these students children is going to start from March 3.

Kulbhushan Sharma said that such action of Haryana Education Board is not appropriate after one year. He said that the authorities should have ask the reply from such schools in the same year by issuing explanation letter immediately after the examinations. Now, after a year, when the date of the examination of children has been declared, and then it is unconstitutional and illegal to stop the roll numbers of students . The board has barred the roll numbers of about 1000 students , so now the schools are being pressurized to fulfill the demand of fine of Rs 5000, while there is no such provision in the Act.

Giving the logic, Kulbhushan Sharma said that the teachers did not show interest after during board examnations, as no honorarium was given from the board to all the teachers who had given exam duty for years. If the board pay honorarium, the teachers were to perform duties with interest. Federation General Secretary Ram Avtar Sharma alleged that the Board has made the examination centres of private schools for away from the private schools to harass the private schools, while the centres of Govtement schools were made nearer.

He warned if the changes have not been made, they will go to High court as well as before the Human Right Commission and Children welfare commission to find justice.
