HARYANA POLICE ADDED 226 NEW BOLERO VEHICLES TO ITS FLEET TO MAINTAIN LAW AND ORDER

In a major addition to its surveillance system, Haryana Police has added 226 new Bolero vehicles to its fleet for law and order duties across the State.

Giving this information here today, Director General of Police, Haryana, Mr Manoj Yadava said that all these vehicles would be provided to field units for maintaining law and order as well as for Police Control Rooms (PCRs) duties. As a part of modernization, the new vehicles would play an effective role in further strengthening law and order besides crime control across the State.

Out of the total, 15 vehicles each had been allotted to SP Nuh and SP Ambala, 12 to SP Hisar, 10 each to CP Gurugram, CP Faridabad, SP Fatehabad, Karnal and Kaithal, nine each to Police Headquarter, SP Rewari, Palwal and Narnaul, eight each to SP Hansi, Jhajjar, Sonipat, Yamunanagar and DCP Panchkula, six each to SP Jind, Kurukshetra and SP Railways, five each to SP Panipat and SP Telecom, four each to SP Sirsa, 3rd Bn HAP, FSL Madhuban, three each to SP Bhiwani, Dadri and 4th Bn HAP, two each to SP Rohtak, 2nd Bn. HAP, 5th Bn HAP and SP Commando, Newal and one vehicle allotted to State Crime Record Bureau, Madhuban.

The DGP also thanked the State Government for according approval to purchase new vehicles for the police force. This will not only meet the requirement of vehicles in police force but will also helps in providing police assistance to the victims quickly and effectively. With the induction of new vehicles, there would be minimum chances of breakdown of vehicles on duty and this will also have a positive impact on the overall performance of the police force, he added.
