SWAMINARAYAN AKSHARDHAM OFFERS HOT FOOD PACKETS DAILY TO POOR AND NEEDY

Abohar/New Delhi: During the current national lockdown to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi is providing free packaged hot meals daily to the needy as specified by the local government. 

Charity distributions are taking place at other BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha centersacross India, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Nagpur, Surat, Silvassa, Vadodara, Rajkot, Junagadh, Bharuch and others. Other ongoing efforts during the pandemic Swaminarayan Akshardham continues to provide public awareness, education, encouragement and guidance about the coronavirus pandemic measures through its satsang centers to devotees and the greater community. 

  
The healthy meals, comprising of mix vegetablesabzi, chapatis, rice and achar,are hygienically cooked, prepared and packed by sadhus and volunteers of Swaminarayan Akshardham and delivered to the community’s poor and needy in New Delhi.

Prayers from Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj

Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual head of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi, daily offers his deepest prayers for those who are directly or indirectly affected by this disease. He continues to sincerely pray for an early resolution to this escalating pandemic and for the betterment of the situation throughout the world. He has urged everyone to unite across cultures, countries,communities and religions to help break the chain by behaving responsibly according to the guidelines of their respective governments and medical authorities.

In view of the current pandemic, the Swaminarayan Akshardhams in New Delhi and Gandhinagar along with all BAPS Swaminarayan Mandirs worldwide remain closed to the public in support of the ongoing efforts to contain the pandemic.
