MEDICAL STAFF OF RML THANKS DSGMC FOR SUPPORTING THEM IN TIME OF CRISIS

Doctors and Medical Staff holds a thanksgiving ceremony for the DSGMC Staff on International Nursing Day.

Doctors and Medical staff of the Ram Monohar Lohia Hospital has thanked the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and its staff for providing them residential accommodation and facilities during this time of COVID-19

During a thanks giving ceremony held at Guru Arjan Dev Niwas at Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib today on International Nursing Day leaders of this medical staff said that they are thankful to the DSGMC which has come in their support in this gravest human crisis and not only provided accommodation for living but is also providing every help to them during their stay at Inns of the DSGMC. These leaders said that action of the DSGMC has has ensured that people suffering from COVID and other infections get regular treatment in the hospitals they work.

Doctors and Medical Staff said that during the initial days of COVID-19 crisis, people residing in their neighborhood had started staring at them as if they are carriers of Corona are the ones who are infected. They said that during that time staff medical staff which was on rented accommodation in different areas of National Capital was told to leave their premises because they worked for COVID-19 patients at their hospitals. They said that at that time their main cause of concern was how to get accommodation for staying and living in this crisis period and the DSGMC and its staff sorted out all these issued by providing them accommodation at their Inns.

These leaders said that we want to dedicate this International Nursing Day to the DSGMC and its staff which has taken an exemplary step by coming to the rescue of the medical staff. They said that when this grave situation had unfolded people were even scared to go near Doctors and Nurses, but at that time these brave soldiers of the DSGMC came forward and served them as brothers and sisters and provided them unprecedented help in discharging their duty for humanity. They said that they feel that this International Nursing Day should be infact dedicated to those people who are serving medical staff in this crisis period.

On the occasion Doctors and Nurses distributed sweets to the staff of the DSGMC. Meanwhile in a separate statement. Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that that people throughout the world are indebted to the medical staff on this International Nurses Day. He said that no words are enough to laud their contribution to save the humanity in this period of gravest human crisis by lending their services and contribution. He said that history will remember that such teams of medical professionals played a key role in saving lives of humans in this period of COVID-19.
