Nari Jagriti Manch, Chandigarh, engaged in social work, today provided free of cost 2000 face masks, and water for thousands of migrant travellers leaving their villages and towns in the ISBT in Sector 43. 

The Manch Distributed 2000 water bottles and biscuits also. This campaign to distribute this material was done under the chairmanship of the forum head Neena Tiwari. During this, other members of the stage along with Neena Tiwari were Ranju Grover, Sudarshan Sharma. 

Giving information on the occasion, the head of the forum, Neena Tiwari said that the migrant passengers who came to Sector 43 bus stand are working in Chandigarh and are being transported to their homes by the Chandigarh administration. These people along with their family members will depart from Chandigarh to their respective states. She said that all the face masks which were distributed were prepared by the manch members in their own houses which were well sanitized and passed on to the needy people.

Apart from this, the manch also made people aware about keeping hands clean and wearing face masks properly, adding that the manch has always been helping the needy people and will continue this effort in future also.
