Mahavira International Disha Veera Centre, Chandigarh Chapter, donated safety equipment to PGI staff to safeguard them from getting infected from COVID19. The equipment was donated in memory of social worker Principal ML Jain.

This distribution was done by Vikas Jain, chairman of Human Rights, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, and Dr. Suresh Jain of the Chemical Engineering Department of Punjab University, to Prof. Dr. Jagat Ram under the leadership of Centre President Kamlesh Jain.

This safety equipment included N95 face masks with filters, face shield, PPE kits. Prof. SC Jain, social worker Rishabh Jain, Shilpa Jain, Manjula Jain, Balash Jain were also present on the occasion.

On this occasion, Vikas Jain, Chairman, Human Rights, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, said that he would like to thank the teams of doctors who have shown a priority to save the lives of others before their own lives. He said that doctors, staff and employees are an integral part of the society, which is much less praised. These medical staff are performing their responsibilities well towards the society. Now it is also our duty to honour them with full respect.

On this occasion, the chairperson of the center, Kamlesh Jain, said that the social worker Principal ML Jain had given all possible help to the needy during his lifetime. The center has been doing many important public welfare works in the society for the last several years.

During this, Kamlesh Jain and his entire team Vikas Jain, Shilpa Jain and Rishabh Jain urged the citizens of the city to take all precautions so that they are protected from falling victim to this pandemic.
