A national level Webinar on the topic “Impact of COVID-19 on entrepreneurial motivation & startup ecosystem and opportunities” was organized by University Business School (UBS) and Institution’s Innovation council of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) Bathinda on Tuesday.

Dr. Satya Ranjan Acharya and Dr. Pankaj Bharti from Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) Ahmedabad were the resource persons for the event. Dr. Satya Ranjan Spoke on Startup Ecosystem and entrepreneurial opportunities and Dr. Pankaj shared his views on entrepreneurial motivation. Resource persons highlighted the emerging scope of technology driven entrepreneurial opportunities in the future. More than 100 participants from 35 different institutions across India registered for the webinar.

Dr. Pritpal Singh Bhullar, Incharge UBS MRSPTU Bathinda, welcomed resource persons & all the participants and highlighted the theme of the webinar. Dr. Suman Kathuria and Dr. Puneet Bansal were the members of the organizing team.

Vice Chancellor, MRSPTU Bathinda, Prof. (Dr.) Mohan Paul Singh Ishar appreciated the efforts of the department for the organizing the webinar on such an important issue in prevailing scenario. He expressed deep commitment of the university towards encouraging entrepreneurship among youth.

Prof. (Dr.) Savina Bansal, Dean Academic Affairs and Prof. (Dr.) Jatinder Kaur, Registrar MRSPTU congratulated the department for organizing webinar and its consistent efforts to motivate the students towards becoming job creators.
