ROBBERS DECAMPED WITH 7.96 LACS IN DAYLIGHT FROM UNION BANK OF INDIA ATM IN KISHANGARH IN CHANDIGARH

Robbers decamped with cash of Rs. 7.96 lacs from ATM of Union of Bank of India installed at Kishangarh, a UT Village in Chandigarh in the branch of Union of India. The incident came to light on Thursday morning. 

It seems the incident took place around 8 pm on Wednesday.  The ATM earlier belongs to Andha Bank, which was merges with Union Bank of India falls under  IT Park Police Station area. The manager of the bank, Praveen Aggarwal said that this amount has been withdrawn by applying the bank code. There was no breakage from the machine. Only two people are aware of the operational code. Police trying  to locate them. 

As soon as the robbery was reported, the police have started investigating the case. Searches CCTV camera installed nearby. CCTV footage has revealed that a young man is seen entering the ATM. The police reached the spot have started investigating the case.

Earlier yesterday Robbers also looted Punjab National Bank, Phase 3A, Mohali and ran away with cash of Rs. 4.80 lacs.
