ACTION PLAN TO CURB RISING NUMBER OF CORONA PATIENTS IN FAZILKA DISTRICT

To curb the rising number of corona virus patients in the district, Fazilka Deputy Commissioner Arvind Pal Singh Sandhu held an important meeting with seniorofficers today.

He specifically directed the Health department officials to expedite the sampling process to reduce the number of corona patients in the district, for which the teams should immediately start sampling of the suspect.

The Health department should immediately check the family members and case history of any person who tested positive for corona and take samples. There should be no negligence in taking samples. Under Mission Fateh, concerned staff should go door to door to make the people aware about the precautions of Covid 19, DC said.

While directing the officials to immediately share the information of any suspected patient with the health department so that the spread of corona virus could be controlled, DC said that all coming from outside should be screened and sampling should be done if required.

He directed the police department to install CCTV cameras at all inter-state and inter-district check posts. Make sure to install cameras so that everyone who comes can be monitored. Action is taken against those who do not wear masks, spit in public places and do not maintain social distance. Those entering the district through interstate border should be told to download the Cova App in their mobile so that the complete data of the person could be accessed.

SSP Harjit Singh, Assistant Commissioners Kanwarjit Singh and Poonam Singh, SDMs Keshav Goyal and Jaspal Singh Brar were also present.
