MOOSEWALA MURDER CASE: GANGSTER DEEPAK TINU, WHO HAD FLED FROM CUSTODY ARRESTED BY DELHI POLICE FROM AJMER

Gangster Deepak Tinu, involved in Sidhu Moosewala murder case, ultimately arrested from Ajmer. The arrest was made by Delhi Police Special Cell on a tip off from Kekdi in Ajmer. For his arrest, 5 teams of Special Cell were continuously raiding. The Special Cell also recovered 5 hand grenades and 2 semi automatic pistols from Tinu. He was in contact with Rohit Godara, a gangster sitting in Azerbaijan. 

On Wednesday, on the basis of intelligence, the team of Special Cell raided Ajmer, Rajasthan and caught gangster Tinu. Tinu is being brought to Punjab. Lawrence’s aide Tinu is a gangster of A category. Tinu has played a role in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. 

Just a week ago, Tinu’s girlfriend was arrested by the police from Mumbai airport. Constable Girl friend had revealed that accused Tinu fled away to foreign country.

The responsible in escaping Gangster CIA Incharge Pritpal Singh had been arrested and terminated from service. Tinu had escaped from police custody on the intervening night of 1-2 October.

Punjab Police caught gangster Tinu’s girlfriend from Mumbai airport. She was trying to escape to Maldives. During interrogation, she told the Punjab Police that Deepak Tinu has fled abroad. He first went to Mauritius and then fled to South Africa. After which the Punjab Police got involved in the investigation on that angle. Although he did not run abroad, but was hiding in Ajmer, Rajasthan. 

Delhi Police Special CP HGS Dhaliwal said that on the intervening night of 1-2 October, Deepak Tinu, who is a member of the Goldy Brar gang, escaped from the custody of Mansa police. The team of Special Cell was working continuously to catch him. Today we have got a big success in this episode and he was arrested from Ajmer.

It may not be out of place to mention here that Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav had constituted a four-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to unravel the entire conspiracy of escape of Gangster Deepak Tinu from police custody in Mansa and to ensure effective and speedy investigation into this case.

The SIT comprises Inspector General of Police (IGP) Patiala range MS Chhina as Chairperson, while, three members include AIG Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Opinderjit Singh, SSP Mansa Gaurav Toora and DSP AGTF Bikramjeet Singh Brar. Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station City-1 Mansa shall offer complete assistance to the SIT, while, the SIT can also co-opt any other officer from Bathinda and Patiala Ranges for assistance.

DGP Gaurav Yadav had apprised that investigations into this case are going on at full pace and several Police teams are on manhunt to nab the escapee. The DGP had said that the SIT will conduct a day-to-day investigation into this case and all persons against whom evidence comes on record will be arrested and a police report against them will be submitted in the concerned court of trial.

It may not out of place to mention that CIA incharge Pritpal took the gangster Tinu to a Hotel to stay with his girl friend in a pre booking room in Mansa, from where he escaped. Tinu girl friend constable had been arrested from Mumbai, was misleading police that the Tinu had been fled away to foreign country.
