SWAC COMMANDERS’ CONFERENCE HELD

The Commanders Conference of the South Western Air Command (SWAC) was held at Air Force Station, Jaisalmer.

On arrival,Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff was received by Air Marshal Vikram Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, SWAC.

During the Conference, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari interacted with the Commanders of SWAC. In his address to the Commanders, he apprised them of the current security scenario and the likely roles of the IAF thereof. The Air Chief said that in any future conflict, Air Power would play a vital and critical role in deciding the outcomes.

He stressed on the need for maintaining a high state of readiness and alert states to take on emerging contingencies. The CAS emphasized on the requirement of ensuring the smooth induction of Agniveervayu into the IAF.

The Air Chief acknowledged the efforts of the Commanders and urged them to continue with diligence to ensure that the IAF remains alert and ready at all times. Lastly, he awarded various trophies to stations for their noteworthy performances in various spheres.
