As a tribute to Mothers on the eve of Mother's day, Sahayak Gurukul, an organisation which aims to spread awareness about the importance of investments and financial literacy , collaborated with CII Indian Women Network (CII-IWN) to organize ‘Investing in Motherhood – Maa Tujhe Salaam’, a financial literacy programme for Mothers at Hyatt Regency here .

The event was held to mark Mother’s Day in a befitting way. The session on money management, aimed at spreading financial literacy and helping mothers manage their money intelligently.

Nagina Bains, Chairperson, CII – IWN, said that the programme was immensely useful for mothers as they have the burden of planning for their children and families. Moreover, women tend to save money for future needs and emergencies. But, here they were exposed to new methods of investments.

The participating women were told about how they should also consider their own Financial Independence and to invest their money wisely so that a good corpus is created for children, family needs, and retirement.(SUBHEAD)(MOREPIC3)
