Social activists in Abohar hailed the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the success; describing the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 as a ‘momentous feat’ in the history of the country.

All India Arora Khatri Punjabi Community celebrated successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 by assembling at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk. Activists distributed ladoos and busted firecrackers.

The Community congratulated all the residents of the city under the chairmanship of local president Naresh Khurana. Besides him, Praveen Chawla, Kamal Kishore Khurana, Kali Ishpujani, Raju Charaya, Sandeep Watts, Bhagwat Bhateja, Deepak Mehta, Satish Jhamb, Sanjay Verma, Lucky Kandhari, Ravi Wadhwa, Raj Narula, Gaurav Nagpal, Nishu Middha and others were present. They shouted slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and shared happiness as India had made history.
