PRANAUV RAM TOPPLES TOP SEED DHRUV NEGI IN SEMI-FINAL: ANMOL IN LINE FOR A DOUBLE

Giant-killer Pranauv Ram N. of Telangana and formidable 12th seed Lalthazuala H. of Mizoram will clash for the boys singles title in the Yonex-Sunrise 30th Smt Krishna Khaitan All India Junior (U-19) Ranking Badminton Tournament here tomorrow.
In the semi-final matches Pranauv Ram N. pulled off the biggest upset as he toppled top seed Dhruv Negi of Uttrakhand 21-16 21-14 in 40 minutes while in a contrasting style Lalthazuala struggled to prevail over eighth seed Sanskar Saraswat 21-18 21-16 in 53 minutes.
The fight for the girls singles crown will be between top seed Anmol Kharb of Haryana and second seed Tanvi Sharma of Punjab. Anmol Kharb continued her winning spree as she ousted her colleague 10th seed 21-7 21-8 in 31 minutes. Tanvi Sharma also completed her match against 14th seed Medhavi Nagar of Haryana by 21-6 21-15 in 31 minutes.
Rohan Kumar Anandas Raj Kumar ot Telangana pairing Rahul Dravid Batti of Andhra Pradesh surprised top seeded Delhi duo of Bhavya Chhabra and Param Choudhary by 21-12 22-20 in boys doubles semi-final.
In the second semi-final third seeds Mayank Rana /Sanskar Saraswat beat Vansh Dev/Ayaaz Malik 21-15 21-12.
ANMOL KHARB IN LINE FOR A DOUBLE
Anmol Kharb of Haryana is in line for a double as she and her partner Vennala K., seeded fourth shocked top seeds Gayatri Rawat and Mansa Rawat 21-14 21-11 in the girls doubles semi-final.
