During morning hours on Monday, on specific information regarding the presence of a drone, a Joint search operation was launched by BSF and Punjab Police on the outskirts of Village - Mehdipur, District -Tarn Taran.
Further, during the search operation, at about 11:40 am, a drone was recovered from the farming field adjacent to Village - Mehdipur.
The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model - DJI Matrice RTK 300, made in China). Yet another attempt of smugglers to smuggle narcotics via drone was foiled by BSF and Punjab Police.
