The PG department of History of Bhag Singh Khalsa College for Women, Kala Tibba Abohar organised a One-Day National Seminar on the “Impact of Bhakti Movement and Sufism on History of Punjab in the Medieval period”.
Chief Guest, Dr. Inderpal Singh Sidhu senate member, former Syndicate member & Dean, Panjab University, said that the definition of Religion is connected with KARMA. While appreciating the exhibition, he said that such antiquities could not be seen in any museum, which were found in the traditional exhibition organised by the students here.
Dr. Jasbir Singh Chairperson Dept. of History, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Idris, Prof. History at Punjabi University, Patiala, Dr. Shyam Sunder Sharma Principal Saraswati Girls PG College Hanumangarh threw light on various aspects of the topic with their remarkable knowledge.
Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur Aulakh welcomed the guests. Dr. Ripandeep Kaur, HoD explained the importance & topic of the seminar. The students of the college organised a beautiful exhibition on ancient cultural objects.
