BSF RECOVERED ANOTHER DRONE ON INDO PAK BORDER IN FEROZEPUR SECTOR

FOURTH DRONE RECOVERED WITHIN FIVE DAYS

The vigilant BSF troops have recovered yet another Pakistani drone in this sector. Notably this is the fourth such drone recovered within last five days.

On Wednesday following the inputs, a search operation had been carried out in the agricultural fields at Barreke village, situated just few kms away from International border. During the search operation one drone (DJI Mavic 3 Classic ) along with one packet of heroin weighing 510 grams had been recovered. The heroin was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and attached to the drone by nylon loop.

  

Earlier one drone (DJI Air 3) along with 560 gram heroin had been recovered near BOP Raja Mohattam. On June 24, one drone along with 530 grams heroin and two metal sticks from Lakha Singh Wala village and on June 22, one drone along with one pistol (without barrel) which was attached with the drone with an adhesive tape, was also recovered during the search operation by BSF.It is pertinent to mention here that during the last fifteen days, 14 drones 6.5 kg heroin, 3 pistols, 5 rounds have been recovered by Punjab Frontier.

Earlier one drone (DJI Air 3) along with 560 gram heroin had been recovered near BOP Raja Mohattam. On June 24, one drone along with 530 grams heroin and two metal sticks from Lakha Singh Wala village and on June 22, one drone along with one pistol (without barrel) which was attached with the drone with an adhesive tape, was also recovered during the search operation by BSF.

It is pertinent to mention here that during the last fifteen days, 14 drones 6.5 kg heroin, 3 pistols, 5 rounds have been recovered by Punjab Frontier.
