INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS, THEIR COACHES HONORED

Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice Chairman of Tantia University, Sriganganagar has said that the players of the area will not face any inconvenience, all possible facilities will be provided to them.

He was interacting with international handball players Jaspreet Singh, Vishal Suthar and their coaches at the University campus. Both the players told Dr. Tantia that due to lack of sports facilities in the area, the players here go out for practice and then join the team from there and represent. If players get adequate sports facilities in their area, they can bring better results.

Dr. Tantia assured that Tantia University will try to provide all the facilities under one roof for the players here. He said that a sports village with state-of-the-art facilities is ready in the university. An academy is being formed here to provide all kinds of facilities.

The Vice Chairman, along with Jaspreet Singh and Vishal Suthar honored handball coach Iqbal Singh, physical teacher Prem Swami and basketball coach Bhani Ram Bhadu with shawls and mementos.

Deputy Registrar Rakesh Verma, General Manager Dr. Vikas Sachdeva and Secretary of Maharaja Ganga Singh Sports Village Sunil Sihag were also present.

In the International IHF Handball Trophy held in Jaipur, Jaspreet Singh was the captain and Vishal Suthar participated as a player of the Indian team that won the gold medal.
