  Capt. Amit Bhardwaj, an alumnus of St. Xavier’s Boys School, Jaipur, etched his name in the annals of bravery during the ‘Kargil War’. Commissioned into the 4 JAT Regiment, he exemplified the indomitable spirit of Rajasthan – a land steeped in leadership, courage, and sacrifice. Capt. Bhardwaj’s saga of valour reverberates through the streets of Jaipur, where his memory is immortalized. Capt. Bhardwaj’s legacy inspires generations, leaving an indelible mark on the sands of time. Family Members of the veteran heroes attended the special events commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas and paying remembrance to war heroes. Their presence reflects the pride and honour the Indian Army, as a family, bestows upon such supreme sacrifices.

Kargil Vijay Diwas evokes mixed emotions – sorrow for fallen lives, yet pride for extraordinary valour. It unites our nation, transcending boundaries. The Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to defence stands unmatched. Their sacrifices embody our core values – duty, courage, and hope.

As we honour Kargil’s heroes, let us express gratitude to all soldiers who safeguard our borders. They are the true guardians of our freedom and sovereignty.
