ANIL VIJ CONGRATULATED HARYANA SHOOTERS MANU BHAKER AND SARABJOT FOR WINNING BRONZE MEDALS AT THE PARIS OLYMPICS

FORMER SPORTS MINISTER ANIL VIJ SAID, “TO PROMOTE SHOOTING IN AMBALA, I SET UP A FIRING RANGE WHERE SARABJOT PRACTICED.”

Former Haryana Sports Minister Sh. Anil Vij congratulated shooters Manu Bhaker from Jhajjar and Sarabjot Singh from Ambala for winning bronze medals in the 10-meter air pistol event at the Paris Olympics.

While interacting to the media persons at Chandigarh, Sh. Vij stated that winning medals by both players is a matter of great pride for the country, Haryana and Ambala district. He mentioned that he had set up the firing range in Ambala to promote shooting and shooter Sarabjot Singh practices at this range. A few days before heading to the Paris Olympics, Sarabjot Singh had met to Sh. Vij.

Former Sports Minister Anil Vij said that the atmosphere in Ambala is joyous due to Sarabjot Singh's medal win. He noted that he have promote and built high-level sports facilities in Ambala for players to reach their highest potential and win medals at the Olympics. Their wish is to see players from Ambala return with medals.

It is noteworthy that before heading to the Paris Olympics, Sarabjot Singh had met former Sports Minister Anil Vij at the shooting range in Ambala Cantonment on July 7. During the meeting, Sh. Vij wished him luck for the competition.

The shooting range was established thanks to former Minister Anil Vij's relentless efforts

It is important to note that due to the tireless efforts of former Sports Minister Anil Vij, a shooting range equipped with state-of-the-art facilities was set up at the Central Phoenix Club in Ambala Cantonment. Sarabjot regularly practices at this shooting range.
