SHOW CAUSE NOTICES ISSUED TO DETC OF EXCISE DEPARTMENT

Haryana Minister of State for Transport, Women and Child Development, Sh. Aseem Goel Naneola while taking a strict cognizance of the improper handling of complainants has directed suspension of the Executive Engineer of the Power Department. Besides this, he also directed to issue show cause notice to another Executive Engineer of the Power Department and the DETC (District Excise and Taxation Officer) of the Excise Department for being absent without permission.
The Minister gave these directions while presiding over the District Redressal Committee meeting in Kurukshetra today. Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies, Sh. Subhash Sudha was also present.
In the meeting, Sh. Aseem Goyal Naneola addressed and resolved 9 out of 14 complaints on the spot, and directed the officers to take action on the remaining 5 complaints and submit a report before the next meeting. Besides these, the Transport Minister heard 28 additional complaints, most of which were resolved immediately.
He directed the officers concerned to ensure they come fully prepared for agenda complaints. If any officer fails to provide a response in the next meeting, strict action will be taken.
TRANSPORT MINISTER SUSPENDS OFFICIAL AND ASSISTANT FOR CASTING FAKE VOTES
Haryana Minister of State for Transport, Women and Child Development, Sh. Aseem Goel Naneola, has directed the suspension of a manager and his assistant for irregularities in the cooperative society elections held in Yamunanagar district.
The Minister gave these directions while presiding over the District Redressal Committee meeting in Yamunanagar today. During the meeting, a total of 12 complaints were heard. Of these, 11 were resolved on the spot by directing the officers, while one complaint was deferred to the next meeting.
Taking note of a complaint from Sanjay Sharma, a resident of village Buria, regarding irregularities in the cooperative society elections, the Minister gave directions for the suspension of Manager Subhash and his assistant Parvinder.
He further directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner to take cognizance of the matter. The complainant alleged that fake votes were cast in the cooperative society elections, including votes of deceased persons, and that voting was conducted using an old voter list.
