CM HONOURS 15 EMINENT PERSONALITIES WITH STATE AWARD

ALSO CONFERS CHIEF MINISTER’S RAKSHAK PADAK AND CHIEF MINISTER’S MEDAL FOR OUTSTANDING DUTY TO UPON 21 POLICE OFFICERS

On the occasion of Independence Day, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann conferred state awards to 15 eminent personalities for their outstanding contribution in various fields besides bestowing Chief Minister’s Rakshak Padak on three police officers/officials, Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding Duty to 18 cops and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Punjab State Annual Environment Award to two. 

These awardees included social activists, artistes, litterateurs, poets, environmentalists and government officials besides a student, who have made outstanding contribution in their respective fields in the larger public interests.
 

The Chief Minister conferred Certificate and award to Dr, Jasveer Singh Gill (Ludhiana), Yudhwinder Singh (Ludhiana), Avtar Singh (Khusropur, Jalandhar), Gurwindervir Singh (Pattewal, Jalandhar), Master Azan Kapoor (Amritsar), Vinayak Mittal (Ludhiana), Sunita Sabharwal (Patiala), Rachhpal Kaur Sidhu (Patiala), Maneet Diwan (Ludhiana), Barinder Singh (Village Masti Pal Kot, Hoshiarpur), Vinod Kumar Sharma (Patiala), Sham Kumar (Pathankot) and The Lambra Kangri Multipurpose Co-operative Service Society Lambra.
 

 

The Chief Minister also honoured three police officers/officials including Amandeep Kumar SI, Jasbir Singh ASI and Ranjit Singh Constable with the prestigious Chief Minister’s Rakshak Padak. Bhagwant Singh Mann also conferred Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding Duty to 18 cops including Jagwinder Singh Commandant, Jaskiranjit Singh Teja DCP Ludhiana, Swarndeep Singh AIG, Vikas Sabharwal AIG, Manish Kumar DSP Vigilance Bureau , Sukhwinder Singh Inspector, Paramjeet Singh Inspector, Amarjeet Singh Inspector, Navjot Singh Sidhu Inspector......

Meanwhile the Chief Minister also felicitated Gram Panchayat Rurkan kalan and Sumitri Devi Asha Worker Village Bulandpur (Jalandhar) with Shaheed Bhagat Singh Punjab State Annual Environment Award. Bhagwant Singh Mann also honoured the Tent Pegging Team led by DIG Inderbir Singh, Parade Commander Vaibhav Chaudhary IPS and Deepkaran Singh PPS.
