SEMINAR AND MEDICAL CHECK UP CAMP WILL BE HELD COLLABORATION WITH GENESIS-AMANDEEP MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL AND GURU GOBIND SINGH MEDICAL COLLEGE

In a significant step towards promoting cancer awareness and early detection, Mayank Foundation, a dedicated non-governmental organization, is set to organize the Aman Setia Memorial Cancer Awareness Seminar & Check-up Camp on August 31, 2024. This vital event is being conducted in collaboration with Genesis-Amandeep Multispeciality Hospital, Ferozepur, and Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot. 

 Dr. Tanjeet Bedi Project coordinator informed that The event will take place at Genesis-Amandeep Multispeciality Hospital, bringing together leading oncologists, healthcare professionals, and community leaders to spread awareness about the importance of early cancer detection and prevention. The seminar aims to educate the public on various types of cancer, symptoms, preventive measures, and the significance of regular check-ups. Expert oncologists Dr Suresh Kumar S Patel Consultant- Medical Oncology At Cancer Centers of America , Dr Sheshank Mahajan -Surgical Oncologist Amandeep Hospital and Dr. Pardeep Garg - Radio oncologist- Guru Gobind Singh Medical college , Faridkot will deliver insightful talks on cancer prevention, early detection, treatment options, and the importance of lifestyle changes to reduce cancer risk.

Attendees will have access to free cancer screening and consultations provided by a team of specialists from Genesis-Amandeep Multispeciality Hospital and Guru Gobind Singh Medical College. 

The camp will include screenings for common cancers such as breast, cervical, and oral cancers. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with doctors and specialists, ask questions, and gain valuable information on cancer-related issues. The Aman Setia Memorial Cancer Awareness Seminar & Check-up Camp is named in the memory of Young boy Aman Setia, whose life and legacy continue to inspire efforts toward community health and well-being.

This event is part of Mayank Foundation’s ongoing mission to provide access to quality healthcare and raise awareness about critical health issues affecting the community.
