EIGHT ILLEGAL MIGRANTS OF BANGLADESH DEPORTED THROUGH FRRO

A DEDICATED TEAM ALONG WITH VERIFICATION FORMS (PARCHA-12) OF ALMOST 400 FAMILIES ALSO SENT TO THEIR ADDRESSES FOR VERIFICATION.

The diligent efforts of the team of PS Vasant Kunj South, South West District headed by Insp. Ratan Singh (ATO VKS) comprising SI Upender, SI Pawan, W/PSI Preeti, HC Nemi Chand, HC Pawan, HC Anop had done a commendable work by detecting 08 illegal migrants of Bangladesh including 1. Jahangir S/o Samsul Seikh, 2. his wife & their six children, all R/o Rangpuri, New Delhi originally from Village- Kekerhat, Distt. - Madaripur, Bangladesh. All above detected 08 illegal migrants have been deported to Bangladesh through FRRO.

To address rising concerns over the unauthorized stay of migrants including Bangladeshi nationals in the capital, the South West District Police has intensified efforts to identify, detain and repatriate individuals residing without valid Indian documents.

A series of targeted operations and joint inspections have been carried out across the South West District. Special teams comprising officers from local police stations, special units have been deployed to conduct thorough searches and gather intelligence to locate undocumented immigrants.

As part of the efforts, staff of PS VK South under the supervision of Inspr. Arvind Pratap Singh (SHO V.K. South) and overall supervision of Sh. Satyajeet Sarin, ACP/VK started a drive for verification of illegal migrants including illegal Bangladeshi National.

Mr. Surendra Choudhary, IPS, DCP, South West, said, during the drive, eight Bangladeshi nationals, including one man and one woman were apprehended. The men namely Jahangir S/o Samsul Seikh, confessed that he originally belongs to Dhaka, Bangladesh. He entered India using jungle routes and express trains and had stayed in India. After settling himself in Delhi, he went back to Bangladesh and brought his wife with his six children.

During the verification drive, door-to-door verifications were conducted and almost 400 families were checked & their documents were collected. Verification forms (Parcha-12) were sent to their respective addresses of West Bengal for verification. A special team was also constituted and sent to West Bengal for manual verification of suspects.

Mr. Surendra Choudhary, IPS, DCP, South West, said, during the drive, eight Bangladeshi nationals, including one man and one woman were apprehended. The men namely Jahangir S/o Samsul Seikh, confessed that he originally belongs to Dhaka, Bangladesh. He entered India using jungle routes and express trains and had stayed in India. On further enquiry, he stated his complete address of Bangladesh i.e. Village Kekerhat, Distt. - Madaripur, Bangladesh. They started living in Rangpuri area of South West, Delhi by hiding their original identity.

During the verification drive, they were suspected by the police personnel and further enquiry revealed that they are from Bangladesh and had destroyed their Bangladeshi IDs.

This initiative reflects the South West District Police’s dedication to upholding law and order while ensuring strict adherence to immigration laws. Appropriate legal actions were followed based on the outcomes of the verification and investigation. All above detected 08 illegal migrants have been departed to Bangladesh through FRRO.

Jahangir S/o Samsul Seikh: Resident of Rangpuri, originally from Village Kekerhat, Distt.- Madaripur, Bangladesh. Female W/o Jahangir. Jahid S/o Jahangir , Ahid S/o Jahangir, Sirajul S/o Jahangir,  Wahid S/o Jahangir, 01 daughter of Jahangir. 01 Another daughter of Jahangir. 

Further efforts are being made to identify more illegal migrants.
