Rupinder Kaur has assumed office as Naib Tehsildar at Abohar. She was warmly received by Tehsildar Sukhbir Kaur and staff of the Revenue Department.
Punjab Government, in a humanitarian gesture in August last year, had given green signal to the proposal to provide a government job to Rupinder Kaur, the wife of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dr. Sandeep Singh who died in the line of duty.
She was accordingly appointed as a Naib Tehsildar on compassionate grounds. Dr. Sandeep Singh had served as DSP in Abohar sub division for two terms.
