Major General Suresh Bhambhu of Kuldiyawali Dhani (Chak 21 ML village) in Sriganganagar has been awarded the ‘Yudh Seva Medal’ for his conduct and discharge of high-class distinguished service in the inaccessible and disturbed area of the Northeast.
Major General Bhambhu was commissioned in the Indian Army in 1992 as Second Lieutenant. In his 32 years of military life, the general officer has provided high level outstanding service in different parts of the country. Presently he is working as Inspector General in Assam Rifles. Earlier he served in Jodhpur in the year 2022 -2023.
Bhambhu completed his primary education in Sainik School Chittorgarh and has served in different terrains & across the country. Earlier also, he was awarded the Sena Medal and the Commendation Card twice by the Army Chief for his leadership and efficiency. His wife Indira Bhambhu is a housewife and both his daughters are doctors. His grandfather Hari Singh Bhambhu was a Subedar in the British Army. Elder brother Indraj Bhambhu does farming in the village and he has a younger sister.
