Young camera man Gurmej Singh, a resident of village Pachmoda under Nanak Mata Post in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, told during an interview in Chandigarh that he was fond of photography since childhood. Initially, he used to do still photography with a small camera. With time, this hobby of his turned into a passion.
Born in July 1996, Gurmej Singh, after passing the Plus Two examination from the government secondary school of the area, decided to establish himself in Punjabi music with the support and blessings of his father Bhagat Singh and mother Prem Kaur.
The calm-natured young photography director Gurmej Singh revealed that he has worked with many producers and directors in Uttarakhand too. He has also shown his painting skills in video films based on traditional folk songs of the region.
