With the efforts of social worker Vipan Sharma, certificates of 26 persons having disabilities besides 4 railway travel passes were prepared at the weekly camp held in the government hospital on Friday. Orthopedician Dr. Sanman Mazi provided valuable support.
Vipan said that each Friday, the doctors of the government hospital cooperate to prepare the certificates and railway passes for the physically disabled. Dr. Mazi said that patients suffer due to lack of specialist in diseases related to eyes, ears and nose in the government hospital.
In this regard, he has sent a letter to the Health Department. If such specialists are provided, then the disabled will not have to go out and the number of certificates will also increase. Vipan demanded to make X-ray free for the disabled in the government hospital as they can’t afford to go to private centres.
