The staff of Cyber Police Station of South East Distt has busted a Fake international Call Centre and arrested 13 persons Yash Mahant, Vivian Michael, Tushar Lal, Vishal, Rishabh, Devesh, Aneesh, Rahul, Abhishek, Ankit, Akash, Deepa and Vikas. With their arrest, twenty mobile phones, eleven computer monitor, eleven CPUs, eleven keyboards, ten headphones, one wi-fi router, one Mahindra Thar and one i-20 car were recovered from their possession.
To rein over the cyber crimes prevalent in the area of Southeast Distt, the police staff of Cyber police station was briefed to be more vigilant. On 01.08.2022, the team comprising Insp Manoj Bhaskar, SI Mohit, HC Naveen, HC Surendra, HC Trilok , HC Raman and W/HC Hemlata led by Inspr. Kuldeep Shekhawat, SHO/ Cyber Police Station received a secret piece of information regarding a fake international call center which was in operation at Okhla, Delhi.
The team planned to raid at the said location under the directions of Sh. Manoj Sinha, ACP Operations/SE and supervision of Sh. Rajeev Ambasta, Addl DCP-II/SED. The team raided at the said location where it found a group of persons who were busy in communicating with Indians living abroad.
Esha Pandey, IPS, DCP, said on sustained interrogation, accused persons disclosed that they used to communicate with the Indians living abroad (NRIs) to dupe them by impersonating themselves as police officials/Government officials of that respective country. They used to tell them that their national identity number has been found involved in criminal activities and if they wanted to get acquitted from those criminal charges, they would have to pay a certain amount as fine.
The team arrested all of them. On enquiry, their identities were revealed as Yash Mahant s/o Pradeep Mahant R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi, age 26 years, Vivian Michael s/o Santosh Michael R/o Chanakyapuri Delhi, age 20 yrs, Tushar Lal s/o Anand Lal R/o Chanakyapuri Delhi, age 23 yrs, Vishal s/o Radha Krishnan R/o Chanakyapuri, Delhi, age 24 yrs, Rishabh Kumar s/o Manoj Kumar R/o Chanakyapuri Delhi, age 24 yrs, Devesh s/o Sonu R/o Safdarjung, Delhi, age 23 yrs, Aneesh s/o Dharmender R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi, age 25 yrs, Rahul Kumar s/o Ashok Kumar R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi, age 20 yrs, Abhishek Sood s/o Pramod Kumar Sood R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi, age 23 yrs, Ankit Jha s/o Shashank Shekhar Jha R/o Palam Village, Delhi, age 22 yrs, Akash s/o Kundan R/o Vasant Vihar, Delhi, age 19 yrs, Deepa d/o Tika Ram Dhakal R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi. age 20 yrs and Vikas Arora s/o Chetan Prakash Arora R/o Faridabad, Haryana age 37 yrs.
With their arrest, twenty mobile phones, eleven computer monitor, eleven CPUs, eleven keyboards, ten headphones, one wi-fi router, one Mahindra Thar and one i-20 car were recovered from their possession. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 88/2022 u/s 419/420/120/34 IPC was registered at P.S. Cyber Police Station. Further investigation of the case is under progress to arrest the leftover co accused persons.

1) Accused Yash Mahant s/o Pradeep Mahant R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi, age 26 years has pursued graduation. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(2) Accused Vivian Michael s/o Santosh Michael R/o Chanakyapuri Delhi, age 20 yrs has studied up to 12th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(3) Accused Tushar Lal s/o Anand Lal R/o Chanakyapuri Delhi, age 23 yrs has studied up to 11th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(4)Accused Vishal s/o Radha Krishnan R/o Chanakyapuri Delhi, age 24 years has studied up to 12th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(5) Accused Rishabh Kumar s/o Manoj Kumar R/o Chanakyapuri Delhi, age 24 years has pursued graduation. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(6) Accused Devesh s/o Sonu R/o Safdarjung, Delhi, age 23 years has studied up to 10th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(7)Accused Aneesh s/o Dharmender R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi, age 25 years has studied up to 12th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(8) Accused Rahul Kumar s/o Ashok Kumar R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi, age 20 years has studied up to 8th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(9)Accused Abhishek Sood s/o Pramod Kumar Sood R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi, age 23 years has studied up to 11th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(10) Accused Ankit Jha s/o Shashank Shekhar Jha R/o Palam Village, Delhi, age 22 years has studied up to 10th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(11) Accused Akash s/o Kundan R/o Vasant Vihar, Delhi, age 19 years has studied up to 9th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(12) Accused Deepa d/o Tika Ram Dhakal R/o Mahipalpur, Delhi. age 20 years has pursued graduation. She is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
(13)Accused Vikas Arora s/o Chetan Prakash Arora R/o Faridabad Haryana, age 37 years has studied up to 12th class. He is unemployed. No previous involvement has been found against him.
