The Indian Army expresses deepest grief on the demise of Naik Bhairo Singh of BSF, who was a gallant soldier and fought bravely in the 1971 Indo Pak War. The braveherat was unwell for last few days and was admitted at AIIMS Jodhpur.
On behalf of Lieutenant General AK Singh, Pune based Southern Army Commander and Lieutenant General Rakesh Kapoor, General Officer Commanding of Desert Corps and all ranks of Indian Army, a wreath was laid conveying their deepest condolences on the demise of the great hero. The valour of Bhairo Singh will inspire the future generations and the country will remember him for his unflinching dedication & devotion for ensuring territorial integrity of mother land
On 22 November 22, a team of Army Doctors had visited the native village of the war hero and carried out his routine medical check-up including that of his family members. The Corps Commander of Konark Corps had also visited the war hero at AIIMS Jodhpur on 17 December 22 to enquire about his health.
