Information and Public Relations, Housing and Urban Development Minister Aman Arora unveiled the statue of Shri Arut Ji Maharaj at Fazilka on Sunday. The statue has been installed by Shri Arorvansh Welfare Society in the memory of Late Jaya Devi, Late Gokal Chand Wadhwa and Late Ashwani Wadhwa at Arorvansh Park, MC Colony.
Aman Arora said that we have a rich heritage and Aroras have played an important role in society with their ability. Our history is glorious and the new generation should be aware of the same. He also appreciated the contribution made by the Arorvansh community in the form of tax to the government exchequer.
MLA Narinder Pal Singh Sawna, President of PHD Chamber of Commerce Karan Gilhotra, former MLA Arun Narang, Punjab President of Arorvansh Sabha Ashwani Kumar Gandhi, President of Arorvansh Welfare Society Fazilka Babu Lal, Arun Wadhwa also addressed.
Sandeep Gilhotra, head of the Asafwala War Memorial Committee, District Planning Board Chairman Sunil Sachdeva, ADC Dr. Mandeep Kaur, SSP Avneet Kaur Sidhu were also present. The organisers presented a memento to the minister.
Earlier, Aman Arora reached Gurudwara Giani Gurbaksh Singh along with his family and prayed for the welfare of all.
