Following the instructions of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), Punjab State Legal Services Authority and District and Sessions Judge Jatinder Kaur, the judicial officers have started a campaign against drug addiction.
While leading a rally, Jagmohan Singh Sanghe, Additional District and Sessions Judge said that the campaign will be continued till October 31.
ADSJ Sanghe said that the general public was also made aware about the toll-free number 1968 with slogans about the schemes of NALSA and those who are entitled to free legal services. In the rally, the participants also raised slogans like Insaf Sabhna Nu, Jhagde Mukao-Pyar Vadhao, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Paani Bachao Jeevan Bachao and distributed leaflets of the schemes.
All judicial officers and staff, District Legal Services Authority staff, Para Legal Volunteers also participated in the rally that started from the court complex and returned to the starting point after making people in residential colonies aware about the drug addiction.

Amandeep Singh CJM cum Secretary District Legal Services Authority said that legal awareness seminars will be conducted in the villages and slum areas of Fazilka, Abohar and Jalalabad during the campaign.
