On Sunday from 10 to 11 am to celebrate the cleanliness drive initiative, troops of BSF Sector HQ Abohar and 55 Bn BSF took part actively in "Ek Tareekh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath" as part of the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign, marking the 9th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Vijay Kumar, DIG, Sector HQ, Abohar along with Vibhash, Second in Command, 55 Bn BSF a/w Staff Officers and soldiers carried out a cleanliness drive under campaign of Swachhta Hi Seva- 2023 & Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Hindumalkot Chowk, Abohar and in front of the BSF Campus.

Tonnes of garbage that was found dumped near the roads was removed during the hour-long campaign. People were motivated to keep their houses and surroundings clean
