LAST RITES OF GDR KAMAL KISHORE BIJARNIYA HELD WITH FULL MILITARY HONOURS

The last rites of Gdr Kamal Kishore Bijarniya with full military honours were held at his native place Patwarika Bass, Shri Madhopur in Rajasthan. 

A massive gathering of people from nearby villages received the mortal remains including a large number of students and NCC cadets from different schools. UDH minister, local MLA, Collector and other civil officers were also present during the last rites. Guard of Honour was given by the Army and the wreath laying ceremony was conducted by Col Narender Singh, Commanding Officer, 123 Inf Bn (TA) Grenadiers and other officers, JCOs and Other ranks of the unit. 

Gdr Kamal Kishore Bijarniya S/o Shri Mangi Lal Bijarniya, native of Patwari Ka Bass, Shri Madhopur was enrolled in 123 Inf Bn (TA) Grenadiers on 1 Aug 2016 and had served the Nation for more than seven years with glory and pride. He had performed the military duties at Jaipur, Srinagar and Sonamarg (J&K) in a highly professional manner, with full zeal and dedication. On 21 Feb 2024, during his posting at Srinagar, reported chest pain and being no more at 92 Base Hospital. Mortal remains were brought from Srinagar to Jaipur by air and by road to his native place. 

The tribute was solemnly charged with national pride and slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ by the people.
