TRIBUTES PAID TO SWAMI KESHWANAND ON 52ND ANNIVERSARY

Being the workplace of such a person, Abohar will remember the achievements of Swami Keshwanand, who was a beacon of light in the field of language and literature, with respect for centuries. 

This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal who was the chief guest at the function held in Sahitya Sadan that was founded by the octogenarian education saint in 1924. 

Dr. Duggal was welcomed by Sadan president Suryakant Rinwa, SKN Ayurvedic Hospital in-charge Dr. Sandeep Watts while the audience gave a standing ovation.

On the occasion, the chief guest offered flower petals to the portrait and statue of Swami ji and planted a sapling. She presented mementos to about 15 NGOs and students of various schools who had won in the declamation competition. Judges and monitors of the competition, all of DAV College of Education, were felicitated.

Havan Yajna was also organized under the guidance of Ashok Sharma Shastri. Those present included Mayor Vimal Thatai, Panchayat Samiti ex-chairman Ravi Kant Rinwa, Raghubir Bhadoo Waryamkhera, Advocate Ashok Bajaj and Prof. JL Aggarwal. 

Lekhak Parishad president Raj Sadosh spoke about his association with Sahitya Sadan since 1961 and contribution of Hazari Lal Rinwa and Chandi Ram Verma in nourishing this institution.
