Keeping in view the Sector-32, Taxi Stand (FIRING CASE), on the directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, SSP/UT, under the supervision of Sh. Rajnish, DANIPS, DSP/DCC and Insp. Jasminder Singh, I/C DCC, teams were constituted to arrest the accused. Today (04.09.2024), a team of DCC, achieved major success by arresting both the accused of Sector-32, Taxi Stand (FIRING CASE).
In this regard FIR No. 160 dated 02.10.2024 u/s 109, 3(5) BNS and 25/27-54-59 Arms Act, PS-34, Chandigatrh was registered.
On 01.10.2024, at about 9.00 PM, Sh. Rajesh S/o Ram Aasre r/o H. No. 133, Adrash Nagar, Naya Gaon Mohali, who is running his taxi at Gosal Taxi Stand Sector-32, adjourning GMCH-32, Chd was present at taxi stand alongwith his colleague Sh. Rajat Tiwari, Honey Bhardwaj, Akashdeep and Tarun. In the meantime, Sunny @ Pandit @ Bhaman and Kali came there. Sunny demanded money from him but he refused.
On this, Sunny annoyed with him and direct Kali to kill him (Rajesh). On this, Kali took out pistol and
fired gunshot toward him, with the intension to kill him. One Bullet hit on his hand and one bullet hit on the neck of his colleague Honey Bhardwaj. After firing, they fled away from the spot. Due to firing, he (Rajesh) and Honey Bhardwaj received bullet injuries.
Modus operandi: They are habitual of consuming drugs (Heroin). To fulfil their lust of drugs, they commit crime in Chandigarh and adjourning area.
