UTCA PLAYER ADITI SHEORAN HONORED BY HARYANA GOVT ON REPUBLIC DAY

UT Cricket Association (UTCA) player Aditi Sheoran was honored by the Haryana Govt on the occasion of Republic Day at the Republic Day district level ceremony held at Sonipat . She received this honor from Haryana's Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment - Krishan Kumar Bedi, in the presence of distinguished guests from the district.

Aditi, a 9th-class student at Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, was recognized for her outstanding performance in sports. She has represented the UTCA Under-15 and Under-19 women’s cricket teams and is currently receiving training at the UT Sports Department's cricket academy in Sector 16. 

Last year, Aditi served as the captain of the champion team in the women's category of the Gully Cricket Tournament organized by UTCA. Currently, she is the captain of the Under-19 women’s cricket team in the School Games.

UTCA President Sanjay Tandon while commenting on her achievement said that Aditi has set an excellent example for other girls in the city and state by actively participating in sports. He also expressed hope that Aditi will continue her exceptional performance in upcoming domestic and BCCI tournaments and secure a spot in the women’s national team.
