NSS SEVEN-DAY SPECIAL CAMP ORGANISED AT SHAHEED MAJOR SANJEEV LATHER GOVERNMENT COLLEGE JULANA

The last day of the seven-day special camp of National Service Scheme (NSS) at Shaheed Major Sanjeev Lather Government College Julana, Jind was organised with great enthusiasm in the college. Programme Officer Dr. Nishu Gupta said that this camp is not just a programme but a lifestyle of social service, which inspires volunteers to fulfill social responsibility. He encouraged the NSS volunteers to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm in the future as well. Programme Officer Dr. S.K. Chamar appreciated the enthusiasm of the volunteers and said that the experience of NSS will increase discipline, leadership and dedication towards social service in their lives, which will make them an aware citizen in the future.

The closing day started with a yoga session, which was conducted by Dr. Satpal Kaushik. The volunteers practiced various yogasanas and pranayama, which infused mental and physical energy.

After this, Acting Principal Mr. Vijendra Kumar motivated the volunteers and highlighted the importance of social service, discipline and leadership. He explained the motto of NSS "Not me, you" and motivated the volunteers to play an active role in social welfare.

After this, the volunteers participated in the college athletic meet and performed brilliantly in various sports competitions.

Acting Principal Mr. Vijendra Kumar motivated the volunteers and highlighted the importance of social service, discipline and leadership. He explained the motto of NSS "Not me, you" and motivated the volunteers to play an active role in social welfare.

In the closing ceremony, volunteers Sheetal and Ashok presented a joint report of the seven-day camp, which gave a brief description of the activities, learnings and achievements of the entire camp.

After this, awards were given to the best volunteers.

Thus, the seven-day special camp concluded with service, knowledge, sports and enthusiasm, giving new experiences and learnings to the volunteers, which will prove helpful in their personality development. Such camps should be organized to promote social harmony, brotherhood and national unity in the society. These camps not only connect the youth with social service but also provide them an opportunity to understand their culture, values and social obligations. Through NSS, young volunteers play their role in nation building and realize their responsibility towards the society.
