SHASTRANG INDIAN MODERN MARTIAL ART CELEBRATES 8TH ANNIVERSARY OF SHASTRANG DAY IN PANCHKULA

Shastrang Indian Modern Martial Art, based in Panchkula, celebrated its 8th Annivarsary of Shastrang Day with great enthusiasm and pride on Sunday. The event, held at its headquarters at SCO-193, 2nd Floor, Sector 16, Panchkula, was a momentous occasion that brought together the founding members, special guests, and dedicated students and their families.

The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed founder members of Shastrang, including Sh. V. S. Kundu (Ex-IAS), President; Mrs. Sucheta Kundu, Media Advisor; Mrs. Kala Nidhi, Treasurer; Sh. Dinesh Verma, Executive Member; and Dr. Meenu Verma, Executive Member. These leaders, who have been instrumental in the growth and development of Shastrang, were celebrated for their continued contributions to the organization.

Grandmaster Bikram Singh Thapa, the founder of Shastrang, addressed the attendees and shared his inspiring journey with the martial art. He spoke passionately about the importance of self-defense, not only as a means of protection but as a life philosophy that builds strength, discipline, and resilience. He expressed gratitude towards the founder members for their unwavering support and to the students for their dedication to the art of Shastrang.


Special guests at the event included Sh. Gunanidhi Sharma, Mr. Pradeep Rana, Mr. Pradeep Singh, Mr. Navdeep Sood, and Mr. Navneet Kaushik, whose presence added to the occasion's significance. Students and their parents were the main attractions of the event, with many martial artists demonstrating their skills in various forms of combat training.

The event concluded on a high note with students receiving awards for their outstanding performances and contributions to the discipline.
