JIND RESIDENT ACCUSED DUPED 27 LAKH RUPEES IN PRETEXT SENDING CANADA ARRESTED FROM MUMBAI

The police produced him before the duty magistrate on Saturday, where the  the accused handed over to Anti Immigration Fraud Unit Panchkula  for four days police remand.

The Police reported to have arrested Karan Verma son of Suresh Kumar resident of village Muana Tehsil Safidon district Jind, accused of duping 27 lakh rupees in the pretext of sending to Canada, from Mumbai.

A case was registered against him in Raipur Rani police station vide FIR number 112 dated 28.05.2024 under sections 406,420, 344, 120-B IPC and 24 Immigration Act.

The police produced him before the duty magistrate on Saturday, where the  the accused handed over to Anti Immigration Fraud Unit Panchkula  for four days police remand.

According to the unit in-charge Tajinder Pal Singh, the accused was wanted in 6 cases registered with Raipur Rani police station.
