CHANDIGARH POLICE CYBER CELL DUPING CHANDIGARHIAN 3.66 CRORES ON INVESTMENTS IN SHARMENT, BROUGHT ON PRODUCTION WARRANT FROM DELHI

Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh has successfully cracked the Case FIR No. 45 dated 23.05.2024 U/S 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120 IPC, 66 D IT Act, PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh, which was registered on the complaint of Surinder Kumar Thakur R/o H.No 1662, Pushpak Complex, Sector 49, Chandigarh, in which complainant reported that he joined a whatsapp group named "P15stock Market ExchangeClub, which was created by +919867223741 on 19th December 2023.

In his group Ms Ankita Gupta assistant cum Manager (Mobile no. +447876764706) uses to daily share Global news, domestic news and share market trends within this group and introduced herself as an employee of M/S SMC Global Securities Ltd. Mr. Rahul Sharma (Mobile Nos. +918033433121, +919863932099) claimed to be teacher of this group also started to share notes related to share market trends within this group.

On 12 January 2024, Ms. Ankita asked complainant that she can arrange an appointment with Mr Rahul Sharma for Golden stocks (stocks having very high potential to rise quickly) trading which he did not respond. They recommended to buy share of Tata Group Hotel "Indian Hotel "which complainant personally had already purchased in his own demat account. She started WhatsApp messages  guiding regarding price of the stock complainant had invested in his own account.

On 22nd January, she advised complainant to join the Stock market exchange club group, where their teacher Mr. Rahul Sharma is briefing daily in the evening about stock market trends etc which complainant joined through their invite. Complainant received several hints regarding Indian Hotel share price. They shared several stocks with likely price which comes true exactly. This started building complainant trust in this financial institution.

On 30th Jan 2024, she sent a message to complainant that they are going pull up 2-3 shares with institutions having potential to give profit of 10/20% immediately. Complainant made up his mind to participate and requested for procedure. On 4th February2024, she sent a message that Mr. Rahul Sharma Teacher has made arrangement of few shares with SMCLE a very powerful institution with 20-
30% profit targets

On 5th February, complainant received a message that complainant cannot buy stocks in hisdemat account and institutional account is required to purchase their recommended Upper Circuit stocks as it has priority over ordinary demat accounts. Complainant asked her how he can open institutional  account and she gave the number of Mr. Manish Kumar (Mobile No: +91  8218870442) who opened Complainant institutional account (a/c id RINDER2024) and helped in downloading their trading app SMCLE On 28 Feb 2024.Mr Manish also shared the link of their trading website through WhatsApp (https://www.wsifhuhn.com.

On 7th March2024 he shared another trading linkhttps://www.ejhfbb xyz trading website of SMCLE as app was under upgradation). The app was upgraded on 9th March 2024 and Mr. Manish Kumar shared this link to upgraded app download(https://play google com/store/apps/details?id=gefdsda.gefw.dasfewf). The app was not working properly. So, Mr. Manish Kumar shared this link on 18 March, 2024 (https://www.xakifci xyz) and this link is still working SMCLE is major institution Account and Complainant is a sub account as confirmed by Manish.

During investigation, 05 no’s accused were earlier arrested from the Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and The Police Station Cyber Crime continues to pursue the case now one more accused namely Chander Mohan Singh S/o Manoj Kumar aged-32 years, who was in judicial custody in  another cheating case at Tihar jail no 03, New Delhi, was taken on production warrant and he was arrested after prior permission of the Hon’ble Court. During interrogation it has been found that he is also involved in two more cases which were registered at Delhi and Faridabad Haryana. Further investigation of the case is under progress. 

Mr. Manish further confirmed that SMCLE is subsidiary of SMC Global Securities Limited, registered with
SEBI (Regd No. INZ000199438) After this, complainant started transferring money as per direction of Mr. Manish Kumar (Manager SMCLE) to trade in their recommended stocks: All the above-mentioned people were working through WhatsApp messages and don't pick calls. Complainant transferred total Rs 3,66,25,000/- from 16.02.2024 to 25.03.2028 as per their direction and in various accounts, which were provided by them. The said institutional account of the complainant is managed by alleged persons and complainantcan notmake withdrawal or transact money/share in the said account Thus the alleged persons induce to the complainant online for investment in share stock market and cheated complainant on the tune of amount Rs 3,66,25000/-.
