ANIL VIJ TAKES STRICT COGNIZANCE OF FRAUD COMPLAINTS OF SENDING PEOPLE ABROAD, DIRECTS DSP TO TAKE STERN ACTION

Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour, Sh. Anil Vij today redressed to the grievances of people from the Ambala Cantonment Assembly constituency at his residence in Ambala and directed the concerned officers to take action for their resolution.

In various cases of fraud under the pretext of sending people abroad, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij instructed the police to take strict action. A resident of Ashok Nagar lodged a complaint with Anil Vij, stating that an agent from Matidas Nagar misled him with the promise of sending his son abroad. He had given the agent 2.5 lakh rupees to send his son to Slovakia. However, after some time, the agent returned the money claiming the Slovakian visa was not issued.

The agent then took 15 lakh rupees claiming he would send the boy to Canada but neither was the boy sent to Canada nor was the money returned. On this, Minister Anil Vij instructed the DSP Cantonment present at the location to take stern action in the matter.

Similarly, a person from the Ambala Cantonment Police Station area complained that an agent defrauded him of 25 lakh rupees under the pretext of sending him abroad. He said he followed up several times but his money was never returned. Energy Minister Anil Vij directed the DSP to take action in this matter as well.

Minister Anil Vij gives instructions for prompt resolution of electricity-related complaints

Several electricity-related grievances were raised in front of Energy Minister Anil Vij, for which he immediately directed the officials present to take action. Residents of Rajendra Nagar raised complaints regarding tightening of power lines and installation of electric poles. A woman living near Baba Balak Nath Temple complained that her electricity meter was forcibly removed by the electricity department. A resident of Aman Nagar raised concerns over discrepancies in his meter reading and demanded a meter check. Other electricity-related complaints were also presented.

 A woman from Mahesh Nagar complained that her husband assaulted and go out the house. Similarly, a person from the Sadar area lodged a complaint regarding a dispute over shuttering equipment and money. Residents of Rajendra Nagar requested installation of a new tube well in the area, upon which Minister Anil Vij directed the Executive Engineer of the Public Health Department to take appropriate action.

Apart from these, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij also instructed officials to take action on several other grievances. On this occasion, DSP Ambala Cantonment, SDAO Number One, BJP leaders Jasbir Singh Jassi, Fakirchand Saini, Councillor Shyam Sundar Arora, Sanjeev Atri, Raman Chatwal and others were present.
