CHANDIGARH BUSINESSMAN PANDHER AND KOLI AWARDED DEATH SENTENCE FOR MURDER OF PINKI SARKASR

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Monday awarded death sentence toChandigarh Sector 27 Resident and a businessman  Moninder Singh Pandher and his associate Surinder Koli  in connection with one of the 16 cases of attempted rape, murder, abduction and criminal conspiracy in Nithari, Noida. CBI Special Judge (anti corruption) Pawan Kumar Tiwari, who pronounced the sentence, called it a ‘rarest of rare’ case.Surinder Koli and Moninder Singh Pandher were pronounced guilty by the CBI court in the murder and attempted rape of 20-year-old Pinki Sarkar. This is eighth of the 16 murder cases against the two. Judgment has already been given in seven cases.
