ED SUMMONED VIRBHADRA SINGH , OTHERS IN MONEY LAUNDERING CASE , DELHI HIGH COURT DENIED BAIL TO LIC AGENT

In further trouble for Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, the ED has summoned him for questioning in its money laundering probe against him and others.The Enforcement Directorate (ED) action comes close on the heels of the CBI filing a chargesheet against him and his wife and others for allegedly amassing assets worth around Rs 10 crore disproportionate to their known sources of income.

SET BACK TO VIRBHADHRA SINGH AS ED SEIZED FARM HOUSE IN DELHI

In more trouble for beleaguered Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today seized a farmhouse belonging to his family in Delhi under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. The agency has issued a provisional order attaching the farmhouse located in south Delhi’s Mehrauli area in connection with the ongoing money laundering probe against him. It said the book value of the Delhi farmhouse is Rs 6.61 crore but its market value is worth Rs 27 crore and is in the name of “Maple Destinations & Dreambuild”

INITERNATIONAL SHIVRATRI FAIR BEGINS: HIMACHAL CM VIRBHADRA SINGH INAUGRATES

The famous International Shivratri fair of Mandi district began today as Himachal Chief Minister, Virbhadra Singh formally announced the opening of the Mela at historical Paddal ground. After paying obeisance at the famous Madho Rai temple the Chief Minister participated in the traditional ‘Jaleb’ (Shobha Yatra) of International Shivratri fair.

CM VIRBHADRA SINGH ANNOUNCES ENHANCEMENT ‘SAMMAN RASHI’ OF FREEDOM FIGHTERS

While speaking on the occasion of State Level Freedom Fighters Conference at Jawalamukhi in district Kangra today, Chief Minister of Himachal Pardesh Virbhadra Singh announced enhancement of ‘Samman Rashi’ of the freedom fighters from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 and equal enhancement of pension of the widows and unmarried daughters of the freedom fighters from 5000 to 15,000. He also announced enhancing of the amount for performing last rites of freedom fighters from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25000 and financial assistance from Rs, 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 for performing last rites of widows of freedom fighters.
