13 RAILWAY EMPLOYEES HONOURED WITH SAFETY AWARDS FOR ENSURING SAFE TRAIN OPERATIONS

Recognising exceptional vigilance and dedication towards rail safety, the Ferozepur Division today honoured 13 railway employees with Safety Awards for their outstanding contribution to ensuring safe train operations. The awards were presented by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjeev Kumar in recognition of the employees’ alertness, prompt action and commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards on the railway network.

The awardees included Ram Pal (Pointsman), Aditya Saxena (Pointsman), Vikas Saini (Station Master), Simranjit Singh (Loco Pilot), Subodh Kumar (Assistant Loco Pilot), Gyan Prakash (Loco Pilot), Maninder Bhatia (Assistant Loco Pilot), Rohit Kumar (Pointsman), Rajesh Kumar (Keyman), Praveen Kumar (Station Master), Lavkesh Meena (Pointsman), Jitender Kumar (Train Manager) and Brajesh Kumar (Train Manager).

They were honoured for their significant contribution towards safe train operations, track maintenance and passenger safety through their vigilance and dedication while on duty.

Speaking on the occasion, DRM Sanjeev Kumar said that the awards were aimed at recognising and encouraging employees who demonstrate exemplary commitment towards safety. He expressed confidence that such recognition would motivate other staff members to perform their duties with greater alertness and responsibility.

He further reiterated that the Ferozepur Division would continue to accord the highest priority to safety and strive to uphold railway safety standards in the future as well.

Among those present on the occasion were Additional Divisional Railway Manager Nitin Garg, Senior Divisional Safety Officer Rohit Verma, Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination) Sumit Khullar, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer/TRD Jeet Ram, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Basant Kumar, Senior Divisional Operations Manager Gurusharan Pathak and other officers.
