3 MISCREANTS WHO LOOTED THE PASSERS-BY ARRESTED WITHIN 24 HOURS

Vairoke police in Fazilka district have traced three masked motorcyclists who fled with cash from a motorcyclist (husband of the female sarpanch) within 24 hours of the registration of the case.

Madan Lal, a resident of village Chhappadi Wala informed Vairoke police station that on 22 July 2026 afternoon, he was riding his motorcycle from Jalalabad to his village, when three unknown persons attacked him near Jaimal Wala village and looted Rs. 49,500/- from him. A case was registered under sections 304,112 BNS.

During the investigation, various teams were formed under the leadership of DSP Fazilka Lovdeep Singh Gill, (having additional charge of Jalalabad) and under the supervision of SI Pargat Singh, SHO, Vairoke, to trace the accused. The CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity of the incident and in the neighbouring villages were scanned.

Within 24 hours, the three accused Karan Singh and Prince Singh, residents of Gobind Nagri Jalalabad and Rahul of Tibba Wali Basti, Guru Har Sahai were traced. From the preliminary investigation, it has come to light that the accused used to roam around on motorcycles in Guru Har Sahai, Goluka, Jalalabad, Bahmani Wala, Ladhuka and other nearby areas and used to carry out robberies by threatening the biker passing by in deserted places using weapons. From whom mostly cash, mobile phones and wallets were taken away. The accused Karan and Prince have previous cases of theft and robbery.
