A blood donation camp was held at the Brahma Kumaris Sriganganagar center to commemorate the death anniversary of Dadi Prakashmani, former Chief Administrator of the NGO.

Media coordinator BK Usha informed that 50 units of blood was collected at the camp held at Brahma Kumaris center located near Soni Dharamshala. Blood was collected by the team from Tapovan Blood Bank. Women also actively participated in the blood donation drive. The chief guests, Dr. Aditya Periwal and Dr. Hansraj Jyani, addressed the audience, dispelling common misconceptions and anxieties surrounding blood donation. They clarified that blood donation not only saves lives but also has positive effects on the donor’s health. Regular blood donation stimulates the production of new red blood cells, leading to various health benefits.

The event’s organizer, BK Mohini, highlighted the life and contributions of Dadi Prakashmani. She also expressed serious concerns about the growing problem of drug abuse among the younger generation. She discussed strategies for preventing drug abuse and called on society to actively contribute in this area. She emphasized the need for collective efforts and awareness to address this issue. BK Vijay, from the “Riddhi-Siddhi” colony center of the Brahma Kumaris, spoke about the importance of meditation and Raj Yoga. All blood donors were presented with certificates of appreciation and prasad was distributed to all.
