Singer B Praak has reportedly received a serious extortion threat, with the Lawrence gang demanding ₹10 crore.
On the afternoon of January 6, an audio recording was sent to Punjabi singer Dilnoor. Prior to this, Dilnoor had received two calls on January 5, which was ugbired,Another call was also received on January 6 from a foreign number.
Punjabi singer Dilnoor has lodged a complaint with the SSP, Mohali.
As per the complaint, he received a threatening call from a foreign number. The caller identified himself as Arju Bishnoi and asked Dilnoor to convey a message to his friend—Bollywood singer B Praak—demanding ₹10 crore as extortion money. The caller warned that if the ransom was not paid within one week, B Praak would face serious harm.
Following the threatening call and extortion demand, Dilnoor immediately contacted the police and filed a report. Taking the matter seriously, the SSP Mohali ordered an immediate investigation. The police are working to trace the source of the call and identify the person behind the threat to get to the bottom of the case. On the other side B Praak was not available for comment.
