VIKSIT BHARAT SANKALP YATRA FLAGGED OFF, PAVING THE WAY FOR POSITIVE CHANGE

In a momentous event ,the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was ceremoniously flagged off by the Governor of Punjab & Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Shri Banwarilal Purohit.

The event took on an enlightening dimension with a special screening of short films within the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van. The officials and the staff watched a screening of short films.These films provided a visual narrative, shedding light on pivotal developmental initiatives,
Emphasizing transparency and real-time data capture, the IEC vehicle deployed in Chandigarh is equipped to continuously track vehicle movements and document ground-level activities systematically. The data will be seamlessly integrated into a portal developed by the Digital India Corporation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, providing senior officials with instant access.

(SUBHEAD)A total of 30 locations have been designated by the Chandigarh Administration, where the Mobile IEC van will be stationed for 15 days. Concurrently, various departments of the Chandigarh Administration will organize camps dealing with Government Flagship Schemes at these locations. The aim is to reach eligible individuals who have yet to avail themselves of the benefits offered under various schemes.

The ground activities planned for Chandigarh encompass interactive sessions with beneficiaries, celebrations of local achievements, on-the-spot quiz competitions, and health camps, aligning with the overarching goal of fostering inclusive development.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of key dignitaries, including Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, Advisor to the Administrator, Sh. Vijay Namdeorao Zade, Finance Secretary, Sh.Hari kallikkat Secretary Public Relations,and other senior officers from the Chandigarh Administration.
