Abohar MLA Sandeep Jakhar made a strong impression on Wednesday at the massive public rally organized by the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on the historic grounds of Muktsar on the auspicious occasion of Maghi.

MLA Jakhar, along with a convoy of hundreds of vehicles and thousands of enthusiastic supporters, departed from the new grain market in Abohar this morning and reached the BJP's Maghi Mela conference. Amidst the beating of drums and chants of “BJP Zindabad,” Sandeep Jakhar addressed his supporters before proceeding to Muktsar. This massive turnout of supporters is being seen as a sign of the BJP's growing strength in the area ahead of the upcoming elections.

Jakhar said that the Maghi Mela commemorates our great martyrs, and today's massive gathering clearly shows that the people of Punjab want change. He said, “The enthusiasm with which the people of Abohar participated today demonstrates that people have faith in the central government's policies and the BJP's development-oriented approach.”
